Job: Inventory Planner (Temporary Assignment for six months)

SUMMARY: Manage and ensure delivery of Regional Demand Planning procurement requirements while driving best-practice inventory management processes. Focus to deliver On-time/in-full and drive excellent customer service while driving to the shortest customer lead time.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Manage inventory levels to meet Service Level Agreement, Open to Buy targets and financial goals
• Set style level strategy for sourcing rules to minimize excess and maximize service levels while complying with Global/Regional requirements
• Review Planned Orders and place POs within business requirements
• Provide analysis inputs to Integrated Business Planning Executive review
• Provide inputs to Total Demand Plan per Global/Regional requirements and deadlines
• Analyze output and deltas for forecast accuracy and perform root cause analysis
• Manage and report on order book integrity across manufacturing, sales and planning groups
• Review for planning parameter changes, compliance to business rules (lead times, launch dates, LCC) and errors
• Review size curve analysis and recommend/implement changes as needed
• Analyze Excess report, identify root cause, trends & improve process
• Review consumption and take action (adjust supply, communicate shortages/excess)
• Support strategic analysis, projects for process improvement
• Manage projects and provide status updated
• Improve existing tools/processes to support changing strategies
• Create new tools/processes to support changing strategies
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and communicate to management

QUALIFICATIONS:
• BS/BA in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering or relevant field of study and/or 1+ year experience in Supply Chain Planning.
• SAP/AFS experience preferred
• Good EXCEL skills
• Fluent English speaking and writing skills
